- 1960 - The Ravena Rescue Squad was formed by the members of the Ravena Hose Company No.1 in November and was known as the Ravena Hose Company No. 1 Rescue Squad.
- 1961 - The Ravena Rescue Squad started operation in January of 1961 with the purchase of a used Cadillac ambulance purchased from the Catskill Fire Department for $1500.00. The Squad responded to 165 calls in the first year.
- 1962 - A new Cadillac ambulance was purchased for $9,815.00
- 1974 - The Squad purchases a new 1974 S&S Cadillac ambulance.
- 1976 - The Ravena Rescue Squad purchased its first modular ambulance at a cost of $25,300.00 and moved into its new two bay ambulance garage located behind the Coeymans Town Hall.
- 1983 - The Ravena Rescue Squad begins EMT Intermediate training
- 1987 - The EMT Intermediate program was Discontinued
- 1990 - Construction began on the current Ravena Rescue Squad / Ravena Senior Projects Building located on Bruno Boulevardd in the Village of Ravena.
- 1991 - Construction of the new ambulance bay is completed.
- 1997 - The Ravena Rescue Squad was incorporated and separated from the Ravena Hose Company No. 1
- 2005 - The Ravena Rescue Squad Inc. began to hire its own EMT paid staff to help offset declining Volunteer membership.
- 2011 - Due to declining volunteer membership the Ravena Rescue Squad Inc. became a fully Career Agency.
- 2015 - Ravena Rescue Squad Inc. begins a new Advanced EMT program.
- 2023 - Ravena Rescue enrolls in the New York State BLS I-GEL Advanced Airway pilot program.
- 2023 - Ravena Rescue opts in to the BLS ECG program.
- Current - The Ravena Rescue Squad Inc. employs on average between 24 and 30 EMT's and receives over 1500 calls per year.
